Gate
Information |
Buried Cables: There are a number of
buried wires and cables that serve the gate, so don't
dig too deeply in that area. There may be a
sketch map of the cables. Until that can be located,
this is from the memory of two people:
- From the gate
going uphill and under the shoulder of the road
there are about 50 feet of cable buried for the
free exit probe. This is buried only about one foot
deep. It's basically in the ditch of loose
gravel there, and is especially easy to hit with the
scraper blade on the tractor, so be careful.
- The Alleghany
Power cable runs from the gate post (transformer
side) uphill to a transformer located on Randy's
property. Jim Wyatt may know the exact location.
- From that same
gate post running across the road there is a conduit
to serve the receiver for the remote.
Gate management
resources: Dave Juth has the gate manuals, keys,
new access cards, remotes, used brushes, part numbers,
software, gate entry and resident data, spare coax
cable, miscellaneous junk, etc., |
